ANKARA,
8 December 2012: President of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Zardari will pay a
three-day official visit to Turkey
from 11-13 December 2012 to attend the 7th Afghanistan-Pakistan-Turkey
Trilateral Summit alongwith President Hamid Karzai and President Abdullah Gul.
Ministers for Foreign Affairs,
Communication, Interior and other high ranking military and civil officials
will also participate in the meeting.
The Trilateral Ankara Summit
provides a comprehensive platform for furthering high level political dialogue,
security cooperation and development partnership among the three brotherly countries
for bringing peace and stability in Afghanistan and the entire region.
Held under the theme of ‘connectivity,’ the meeting
will focus on strengthening economic and commercial cooperation through
improving the existing and developing new rail and road links.
