Pakistan ‘ın En Üst Komutanı, ilişkileri güçlendirmek için, Türkiye’yi ziyaret ediyor

ANKARA, 24 Mayıs 2017: Pakistan Genel Kurmay Başkanı  Orgeneral  Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Genel Kurmay Başkanı General Hulusi Akar’ın devetlisi olarak 23-26 Mayıs 2017 tarihlerinde Türkiye’de bulunuyor.

Orgneral Hulusi Akar, Pakistan Genel Kurmay Başkanı Zubair Mahmood Hayat’ı Genel Kurmay Başkanlığı Karargahın’da ağırladı. Konuk Genel Kurmay Başkan,ı Genel Kurmay Karargahında askeri tören ile karşılnadı. Her iki Genel Kurmay başkanları da birer konuşma yaptılar. Görüşmelerde, ikili ilişkiler ile düzeyinde ,jeo-startejik durum ile güvenlik sorunlarına vurgu yapıldı. Her İki taraf da, iki kardeş ülkenin   silahlı kuvvetleri arasında işbirliğinin arttırılması konusunda anlaşmaya vardı.
 
Genel Kurmay Başkanı Hulusi Akar, Pakistan- Türkiye arasındaki savunma işbirliğine  verdiği üstün hizmetlerden  dolayı konuk Genel Kurmay Başkanı Zubair Mahmood Hayat’a görkemli bir tören ile “Liyakat Nişanı” verdi.

Konuk Genel Kurmay Başkanı aynı zamanda Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanı Orgeneral Salih Zeki Çolak  ve Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanı Oramiral Bülent Bostanoğlu’nu ziyaret etti.


Modern Türkiye’nin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’a saygılarını ifade etmek amacıyla, Konuk Genel Kurmay Başkanı Anıtkabir’I ziyaret etti ve Atatürk’ün mozalesine çelenk bıraktı.

First Session of Pakistan-Turkey Regional Consultations held at Islamabad

ISLAMABAD 18 May 2017: The first session of Pakistan-Turkey Regional Consultations at Directors-General Level between the Foreign Ministries of Pakistan and Turkey was held on 18th May 2017 in Islamabad. The Turkish side was led by Ambassador Fazli Corman, Director General (South Asia) and the Pakistan delegation was led by Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director General (Afghanistan, Iran & Turkey).

These discussions were held as part of the on-going process to strengthen institutional exchanges between the two brotherly countries. The two sides held in-depth discussions on regional developments. These exchanges would provide an impetus to our closer cooperation on strengthening strategic ties in all fields of mutual interest.

The two sides also held the Inaugural Session of the Joint Working Group on Political Coordination within the framework of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) that was established during the 5th HLSCC Meeting on 23rdFebruary 2017.


Pakistan Türkiye'deki Trajik Yol Kazası Üzerine Derinden Başsağlığı Dileklerini İletir

Türkiye'de Muğla-Antalya yolunda 23 değerli yaşamın kaybedildiği ve 11 kişinin yaralandığı trajik kaza haberi Pakistan'da derin üzüntü ve acıyla karşılanmıştır.

Pakistan hükümeti ve halkı değerli yaşamların kaybı üzerine en derin samimiyetlerini ve başsağlığı dileklerini iletir ve yaralananların en çabuk şekilde iyileşmesi için dua eder.

Düşüncelerimiz ve dualarımız Türkiye'nin kardeş halkıyla, trajik kazanın kurbanlarıyla ve yakınını kaybetmiş ailelerle beraberdir.

Pakistan Conveys Deep Condolences over the Tragic Road Accident in Turkey

The news of the tragic accident on the Mugla-Antalya road in Turkey, in which reportedly 23 precious lives were lost and 11 individuals injured, has been received with deep sorrow and grief in Pakistan.

The government and people of Pakistan convey their profound sympathies and condolences over the loss of precious lives and pray for the swiftest recovery of those injured.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the brotherly people of Turkey, the victims of the tragic accident, and bereaved families.

Traditional Pakistani wedding culture showcased at Ankara fund-raiser

ANKARA: 12 May 2017: A Pakistan Cultural Show, depicting wedding traditions of Pakistan, enthralled a large, enthusiastic audience at Pakistan House, Ankara. The event was aimed at raising funds for welfare activities of the Pakistan-Turkey Women Friendship Association.

The cultural show featured Pakistani wedding traditions such as hena (mehndi) ceremony, exhibition of richly-coloured bridal dresses, and tasty Pakistani cuisine.  

Spouse of the Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey, Mrs. Mahwish Sohail, hosted the event -- which was attended by a large number of women from Ankara including Spouse of Chief of Turkish General Staff General Hulusi Akar; Spouse of Muhammet Balta, Member of Turkish Parliament and Chairman of Turkey-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group; Spouse of Burhan Kayaturk, Chairman, Turkey-Pakistan Cultural Association; Ms Sebahat Özer, Chairperson of Pakistan-Turkey Women Friendship Association, and ladies from the Pakistani community and spouses of diplomats.

The spouses of Pakistani diplomats demonstrated rich and colourful customs of the typical Pakistani wedding ceremony. The wedding attires with intricate embroidery and ornate jewellery were greatly admired by the guests.

A charity raffle draw was organized on the occasion, with a large number of prizes including excursion trips to historic places in Turkey, dinner/lunch at Ankara’s famous restaurants, and Pakistani carpet, shawls, and a range of traditional handicrafts. The proceeds were donated to the Pakistan-Turkey Women Friendship Association to support its charity activities in Turkey, especially in the field of education.

Guests were served Pakistani cuisine at the conclusion of the cultural show.
