H.E. Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey

Ambassador H.E. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi is a career diplomat, who joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1990.  Before assuming his duties at Ankara, Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi was serving as Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary and also concurrently accredited to Montenegro (November 2015 to August 2017). Earlier, he served as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (June, 2013 to October, 2015). He has wide experience in the diplomatic service having served in various Pakistan missions abroad including Geneva (1995-1999), New Delhi (2005-2006) and Washington (2006-2013). Ambassador M. Syrus Sajjad Qazi also served at Headquarters as Section Officer (1992-1995& 1999-2002) and Director (2004-2005). He was born on 11th September 1964 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He holds MBBS degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan and is proficient in English, Urdu and Punjabi.

Ambassador M. Syrus Sajjad Qazi is married with three children.
