An essay competition in
Urdu named “In The Light of Past to The Future: Pakistan-Turkey Relations"
will be held by the Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Urdu Language and Literature Department
with the cooperation of International Education
Consultancy Company and Literary Urdu Journal Irtibaat.
Gifts will be presented to the first three winners of the competition.
Deadline of the compositions: 01 September 2012
Requisites for applying:
1- Graduation from any Urdu department
of Turkey
universities
2- Essays must be written by Ms Word or
Inpage Urdu program
3- Essays must be at least 4 pages and
maximum 10 pages

This is very interesting. I hope they can realise that Urdu and Turkish language have many similar roots of words.
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog. I'm surprised I've not stumbled upon your blog before. I hope that this meeting will bring both literature to look at that how Urdu words have some Turkish roots. By the way I was wondering if you'll be interested to write the entertainment side of Pak-Turk friendship? I hope they can grow in this and get away from bollywood.
