Prime Minister of Pakistan extends deep condolences on the death of Suleyman Demirel

ANKARA, 19 June 2015: Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep condolences on the death of Turkey’s former President Suleyman Demirel on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan.
In his separate messages to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, he expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of former Turkish President and said that President Suleyman holds an iconic stature in the political history of Turkey and his legacy in strengthening Pakistan-Turkey relations will always be remembered.

In his condolence letters, he said, in this hour of grief and national mourning the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity and brotherhood with their Turkish brethren. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul His Blessings and Mercy.
