Pakistan Food Festival was
formally inaugurated with the Pakistan Day Reception on 24rd March in Ankara . Today, on 27th
March, the chefs hosted an exclusive lunch for the representatives of the
Turkish media. With tables set inside the kitchen of the hotel, the guests were
explained various aspects of preparation of Pakistani food. Leading Turkish TV
channels filmed the activity for audience. Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad
Haroon Shaukat also took part in food demonstration and explained the method of
preparation of some traditional Pakistani dishes such as Lahore fried fish,
Peshweri chaple kabab, Sindhi biryani, sarson ki sage
with makai ki roti, lassi, chicken kharahi, Gajar Halwa, Jaleebi, etc.
