Prime Minister of Pakistan pays visit to the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

ANKARA September 17, 2013:  Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif laid floral wreath on the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. In his remarks, the Prime Minister said, "It is a great honour for me to pay homage to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk –the father of modern Turkey. Ataturk’s visionary statesmanship united the Turkish nation and chartered the course of mode 

rnity and progress. Ataturk is revered in Pakistan as a truly great visionary leader.

The people of Pakistan have a special affinity for our Turkish brothers and we desire to strengthen our strategic partnership with Turkey. I have no doubt that together we can achieve greater prosperity and realize our common destinies.
