The leadership of Pakistan has expressed their anguish at the tragic loss of precious lives resulting from the terrorist attack in the Turkish border town of Reyhanli, killing and injuring many innocent Turkish people yesterday.
In separate messages of condolence, addressed to President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan have offered deep condolences and sympathy to the Government and brotherly people of Turkey over this heinous crime.
The President stated that Pakistan abhorred terrorism in all its forms and manifestations while underscoring the need to have resolute determination to defeat the evil forces of terrorism from our region.
The Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the Government and people of Turkey in this testing hour.
The two leaders observed that Pakistan, being a victim of terrorism itself, fully understood and shared the pain and agony of the brotherly people of Turkey.
