President of Pakistan felicitates Turkish counterpart

Islamabad, 2 November 2015: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday telephoned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and felicitated on the success of Justice and Development Party (AKP) in elections. The President hoped that democracy would further strengthen in Turkey with the success of AKP and as a result prosperity of the people will increase. The President said that Pakistan and Turkey are two brotherly countries adding that their friendship based on common faith and history is growing day by day. The President hoped that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan brotherly relations and people to people contacts between the two countries would further expand. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked President Mamnoon and said that Pakistan-Turkey relations would attain new heights of friendship.
