4. “Cinnah Genç Yazarlar Ödülleri" Ödül Töreni Ankara'da Düzenlendi
ANKARA, 9 Kasım 2020: Dördüncü "Cinnah Genç Yazarlar Ödülü" makale yerışmasının ödül töreni bugün Ankara'da gerçekleştirildi. COVID-19 sınırlandırmalarından dolayı, bu olay online olarak gerçekleştirildi. Türkiye Milli Eğitim Bakan Yardımcısı Sayın Reha Denemeç baş misafirken, yarışmaya katılan öğrenciler, okul müdürleri ve İl Milli Eğitim Müdürleri de olaya katıldılar.
Pakistan'ın Kurucusu Kaid-i Azam Muhammed Ali Cinnah'ın adını alan Ödüller Pakistan Büyükelçiliğinin girişimiyle Türkiye Milli Eğitim Bakanlığıyla ortak olarak düzenlendi. Bu yılki yarışmanın teması "Cinnah ve Atatürk - 20. Yüzyılın iki büyük lideri" idi.
Bu olay üzerine konuşan Bakan Yardımcısı Reha Denemeç, Pakistan ve Türkiye'nin tarihte derin kökleri olan kardeşlik bağlarının keyfini çıkardığını söyledi. Kendisi Türkiye'nin Pakistan halkının Türk Bağımsızlık Savaşına, Çanakkale Savaşına ve 15 Temmuz 2016 başarısız darbe girişimi sırasında verdiği destekleri unutmayacağını söyledi. Atatürk'ün bağımsızlık savaşı sırasında Müslüman dünyasından destek aradığı sırada, bugünkü pakistan'ı oluşturan bölgelerin halkının büyük şair ve filozof Allame Muhammed İkbal'in konuşmaları aracılığıyla seferberliğe geçtiğini hatırlattı. Kendisi bizim görevimizin atalarımızın başlattığı ve ardı sıra gelen nesillerce sürdürülen Türkiye-Pakistan kardeşliğini güçlendirmek olduğunu söyledi.
Büyükelçi Syrus Sajjad Qazi konuşmasında Cinnah Genç Yazarlar Ödülü'nün Pakistan'ın Türkiye'deki kamu diplomasisi etkinliklerinin en anahtar girişimlerinden birisi olduğunu söyledi. Katılan öğrencileri bu makalelerdeki derin düşüncelerinden, yüksek kalitede bilgilerinden, tutkularından ve bakış açılarından dolayı kutladı ve onların çabalarını Pakistan-Türkiye ilişkisine yapılmış değerli bir katkı olarak nitelendirdi. Büyükelçi Muhammed Ali Cinnah'ın Türk ve Pakistan milletleri arasındaki ebedi kardeşliği güçlendirmek için anahtar rol oynadıklarını söyledi. Her iki ülkedeki liderlerin vizyonunun tarihi bağlarımızı güçlü bir stratejik ortaklığa dönüştürmek olduğunu belirtti. Bu zamana kadar, Pakistan-Türkiye bağlarını ekonomik, ticari, savunma, eğitim ve insanlar arası bağlar alanlarında geliştirmeye çalıştık diye ekledi.
Daha öncesinde, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı AB ve Dış İlişkiler Genel Müdürü Sayın Burcu EYİSOY DALKIRAN yarışma hakkında detayları verdi. Kendisi bir jüriler panelinin değerlendirmeye giren 11 makaleyi değerlendirdiğini söyledi. Benzeri bir yarışmanın Pakistan'da da düzenlenmesini istediklerini belirtti.
Tekirdağ Muratlı Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi'nden Mustafa Çakır birincilik ödülünü kazandı. Nevşehir, Merkez İlçesindeki Özel Altınyıldız Fen Lisesi'nden Simay Yağmur Yılmaz ikincilik ödülünü alırken, Tekirdağ Muratlı Anadolu Lisesi'nden Beril Akgün üçüncü oldu. Kayseri Kocasinan Anadolu Lisesi'nden Nazlı Can Bayraktar, Kayseri 75. Yıl Cumhuriyet Anadolu Lisesi'nden Sena Nur Gülsoy ve Bursa Osmangazi Hüma Hatun Mesleki ve Teknik Lisesi'nden Feyza Nur Dolmacı da "Mansiyon Ödülü" kazandılar.
Awards Ceremony for 4th edition of “Jinnah Young Writers Awards” held in Ankara
ANKARA, 9 November 2020: Awards ceremony for the fourth edition of “Jinnah Young Writers Award” essay competition was held in Ankara today. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event was held online. Deputy Minister for National Education of Turkey Mr. Reha Denemeç was the chief guest while participating students, school principals and provincial heads of the Department of Education also attended.
The Award, named after the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is the initiative of the Pakistan Embassy, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. The theme for this year’s competition was “Jinnah and Ataturk – two great leaders of the 20th century.”
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Minister Reha Denemeç said that Pakistan and Turkey enjoy fraternal ties deeply rooted in history. He noted that Turkey will not forget the support given by the people of Pakistan during Turkish War of Independence, Çanakkale War, and the 15th July 2016 failed coup. He recalled that when Atatürk sought support from the Muslim world during war of independence, people from areas now forming Pakistan were mobilized through speeches by great poet and philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He emphasized that it is our duty to strengthen Turkey-Pakistan brotherhood that our ancestors established and nurtured by successive generations.
Ambassador Syrus Sajjad Qazi in his remarks said Jinnah Young Writers Award was one of the key initiatives of Pakistan’s public diplomacy activities in Turkey. He felicitated the participating students for their deep thinking, high quality information, and passion and perspective contained in the essays and termed their efforts as a valuable contribution to the Pakistan-Turkey relationship. The Ambassador said Muhammad Ali Jinnah played a pivotal role in reinforcing the eternal brotherhood between the Turkish and Pakistani nations. He said the vision of the leadership in both countries is to transform our historic relationship into a strong strategic partnership. To this end, we are endeavoring to promote Pakistan-Turkey ties in the domain of economy, trade, defence, education, and people to people contacts, he added.
Earlier, Ms. Burcu EYİSOY DALKIRAN, Director General of EU and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of National Education gave details about the competition. She said a panel of judges evaluated the 11 shortlisted essays. She expressed the desire to hold similar competition in Pakistan as well.
Mustafa Çakir of Technical & Vocational Anadolu High School of Muratlı, Tekirdağ province clinched first position; Simay Yağmur Yilmaz of Private Altınyıldız Science High School of Merkez, Nevşehir province obtained second position; while Beril Akgün of Anadolu High School of Muratlı, Tekirdağ province secured third position. Essays written by Ms. Nazlı Can Bayraktar of Kocasinan Anadolu High School of Kayseri province, Sena Nur Gülsoy of 75. Year Republic Anadolu High School of Kayseri province and Feyza Nur Dolmacı of Osmangazi Huma Hatun Technical and Vocational High School of Bursa province were awarded “Honorable Mention.”
Pakistan Donanması Gemisi Türkiye'de uluslararası deniz tatbikatına katıldı
ANKARA, 30 Ekim 2020: Pakistan Donanması firkateyni PNS Zulfiqar üzerinde taşıdığı helikopterle (Aloutte Al-41) ve Deniz Gözetleme Uçağıyla (MPA) 30 Ekim ile 10 Kasım 2020 arasında Doğu Akdeniz'deki Aksaz Deniz Üssü ve Dalaman Hava Üssünde düzenlenen Türkiye'deki MAVİ Balina-2020 Uluslararası Tatbikata katılıyor. Türkiye ve Pakistan'ın yanı sıra bu deniz tatbikatına Bulgaristan, Romanya, İspanya, İtalya ve ABD'den de gemiler ve uçaklar deniz tatbikatına katılmaktadır.
Mavi Balina-2020'nin amacı, çok tehditli bir ortamda Anti Denizaltı Savaşlarının ve destek harekatlarının çeşitli yönleri için ileri bir eğitim fırsatı sağlamak ve katılımcı ülkeler açısından beceri ve bilgilerini geliştirirken birlikte operasyon yapabilme kabiliyetini geliştirmektir.
Pakistan ve Türkiye kardeşlik bağlarının keyfini çıkartmaktadır. Askeri müttefikler olarak, Pakistan ve Türk donanmaları on yıllar boyunca sıcak ve yakın ilişkiler sağlamıştır. İki donanma arasındaki etkileşimlere düzenli tatbikatlar, liman ziyaretleri, karşılıklı eğitim programları ve denizcilik üretim alanında işbirliği dahildir. Pakistan Deniz Kuvvetleri Mavi Balina tatbikatına (iki yılda bir düzenlenir) 2008'den beri katılır. PNS Zulfiqar gemisinin katılımı iki donanma arasındaki güçlü bağın bir ifadesidir. Türk donanmasının da Pakistan Donanmasının önümüzdeki yılın ilk günlerinde ev sahipliği yapacağı uluslararası AMAN deniz tatbikatına katılması beklenmektedir.
Pakistan Navy Ship participation in multinational navalmilitary exercise in Turkey
ANKARA, 30 October 2020: Pakistan Navy frigate PNS Zulfiqar with an embarked helicopter (Alouette Al-41) as well as a Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) is participating in multinational exercise MAVI Balina-2020 held from 30 October to 10 November 2020 in Eastern Mediterranean based from Aksaz Naval base and Dalaman Air Base of Turkey. In addition to Turkey to and Pakistan, ships and aircraft of Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Italy, and the USA are also participating in the naval exercise.
The aim of Mavi Balina-2020 is to provide an advanced training opportunity in various aspects of Anti Submarine Warfare and submarine support operations in a multi-threat environment and improve operational interoperability among the participating countries while enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Pakistan and Turkey enjoy fraternal ties. As brothers in arms, Pakistan and Turkish navies have maintained warm and cordial relations for decades. The interaction between the two navies include regular exercises, port calls, training exchange programmes and collaboration in the naval production section. Pakistan Navy has been regularly participating in exercise Mavi Balina (held biennially) since 2008. PNS Zulfiqar participation is a manifestation of the strong bond that the two navies enjoy. Turkish Navy is expected to participate in the upcoming multinational naval exercise AMAN to be hosted by the Pakistan Navy early next year.
Ezilen Keşmirliler için Türklerin desteği Ankara'daki Kara Gün olayında yeniden teyit edildi
Büyükelçilik Müsteşarı Sayın Arshad Jan Pathan Pakistan Cumhurbaşkanı ve Başbakanının mesajlarını okudu. Pakistan liderleri, mesele Keşmirlilerin isteğine göre çözülene kadar Keşmir halkına politik, moral ve diplomatik desteklerini yineledi.
Parlamenter Ali Şahin anahtar niteliğindeki konuşmasında Keşmir'in bir açık hava hapishanesi olduğunu, 9 Keşmirliye 1 Hint askeri düştüğünü ve binlerce Keşmirlinin öldürüldüğünü söyledi. Kendisi dünya üzerindeki cennetin bir cehenneme dönüştüğünü ve bunun küresel topluluk tarafından anlaşılması gerektiğini belirtti. Ali Şahin Batı dünyasına sessizliğini bozması ve Yasadışı Hint İşgalindeki Keşmir (IIOJK) için seslerini yükseltmeleri çağrısında bulundu.
Ali Şahin “Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan'ın Şubat ayında Pakistan Parlamentosundaki konuşmasında söylediği gibi, nasıl Pakistan ve Keşmir bizi Çanakkale Savaşımızda desteklediyse, şimdi Pakistan ve Keşmir halkını destekleme sırası bizdedir" dedi. Kendisi Türk milleti olarak baskı altındaki Keşmirlilerle yan yana durmaya devam edeceğiz dedi. Keşmir meselesi Keşmir halkının isteklerine göre Birleşmiş Milletler Güvenlik Konseyi Kararları altında barışçıl biçimde çözülene dek Türk desteklerinin devam edeceğini vurguladı.
Pakistan’ın Türkiye Büyükelçisi Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi konuşmasında 27 Ekim'in "Kara Gün" olarak kutlanır çünkü 1947 yılında Hint Kuvvetleri uluslararası kanunları açıkça ihlal ederek, IIOJK'nin masum halkının topraklarını işgal etmek ve ezmek için Srinagar'a inmiştir dedi. Bugün, Hint işgali altındaki Keşmirliler için uzun bir işgal gecesinin başlangıcıdır ve korkunç bir insanlık trajedisi günümüze kadar devam etmiştir. Büyükelçi, Hint Hükümetinin IIOJK'deki 5 Ağustos 2019 yasadışı kararlarından sonra, BJP hükümetinin "Hindutva" ideolojisini demografik bir saldırı biçiminde anlaşmazlıklı bölgenin nüfus yapısını değiştirmek için kullandığını da ekledi. Hindistan işgal altındaki bölgeye uluslararası kuruluşların erişmesine izin vermemektedir ve bu yakınlarda "Kashmir Times" ve "Kashmir News Service" adlı günlük gazeteleri kapatmıştır.
Büyükelçi Qazi uluslararası topluluğa Keşmirlilere BMGK kararlarına göre vazgeçilmez kendi kaderlerini belirleme haklarını gerçekleştirme şansını vererek moral ve yasal yükümlülüklerini yerine getirmesi çağrısında bulundu. Kendisi Türk halkına ve liderlerine Cammu ve Keşmir anlaşmazlığındaki prensipli duruşu ve devamlı destekleri için ve özellikle 75. Birleşmiş Milletler Genel Kurulundaki konuşmasında Keşmir meselesini vurguladığı için Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan'a teşekkür etti.
Pakistan'ın Keşmir ve Gilgit Baltistan Bakanlığı tarafından düzenlenen Keşmir hakkındaki konuşma yarışmasında dün ödül alan Türk öğrenci Sn. Nesibe Yavaş da konuşmasını bir kez daha okudu.
Türk Sivil Toplum Kuruluşu Cansuyu Derneği tarafından IIOJK'deki insan hakları ihlalleri üzerine bir fotoğraf sergisi de bu olayda gösterime girdi.
İstanbul Medipol Üniversitesi de ayrıca "Keşmir Kara Günü'nü Anlamak: Geçmişten Günümüze" başlıklı bir zoom konferansı düzenledi.

Distinguished Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today Kashmiri people and Pakistanis all over the world are commemorating 27 October as a Black Day to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
On this day 73 years ago, Indian forces landed in Srinagar to occupy and oppress the innocent people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in a blatant violation of international law.
This day marked the beginning of a long night of oppression for the Kashmiris under Indian occupation, and a grave human tragedy that continues to this very day.
This day is also a stark reminder of the broken promises and unfulfilled commitments made to the Kashmiri people. Promises made by India to the Kashmiri people for a plebiscite and commitments undertaken by India, when it had taken the matter first time to the UN in January 1948 and accepted its prescription.
The denial of the right to self-determination to the Kashmiris remains at the very heart of this dispute.
In these seven decades, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has become one of the most militarized zones in the world, where Indian occupation forces have committed massive human rights violations, widely known to international community.
After India’s illegal and unilateral actions on August 5, 2019, which were in violation of several UNSC resolutions, an unprecedented, more than a year long, military siege and communication blockade has imposed enormous suffering upon Kashmiris.
The human rights violations include extra-judicial killings of Kashmiri youth in fake "encounters" and so called "cordon and search" operations by the Indian occupation forces as well as forced disappearances and arbitrary arrests and detentions of senior Kashmiri leaders and activists.
Taking advantage of the world’s preoccupation with the Covid-19 pandemic, and to perpetuate its illegal occupation of IIOJK, the BJP government has introduced illegal domicile rules in IIOJK in a bid to change the disputed region’s demography to advance its ‘Hindutva’ agenda in form of a demographic assault.
Like all occupying powers, India has attempted to deny access to the world in its occupied territory. There are several pending access related requests from various UN mechanisms in the IIOJK. At the same time, India has tried taking away every outlet through which the Kashmiris could express themselves. Just a few days ago, the Indian authorities have sealed the offices of leading English language dailies, ‘Kashmir Times’, and ‘Kashmir News Service’.
Despite that global Parliaments, international human rights organizations as well as the international media have been vocal in their condemnation of the ongoing military siege in the IIOJK.
The international community needs to use all tools at its disposal to:
- · hold India accountable for its illegal and unilateral actions and human rights violations against the Kashmiri people,
- · pressurize India to adhere to its international human rights obligations, and,
- · allow international media, humanitarian organizations and independent observers entry into IIOJK to independently verify reports of abuse, violations and use of excessive force.
Above all, we urge the international community to fulfill its moral and legal obligation by giving Kashmiris the chance to realize their inalienable right to self-determination in accordance with UNSC resolutions.
We are extremely grateful for Turkey’s principled position and continuous support on Jammu & Kashmir Dispute, particularly President Erdogan highlighting the Kashmir Issue in his address during the 75th session of United Nations General Assembly.
The people of Jammu & Kashmir as well as the people and the Government of Pakistan are truly thankful to their Turkish brothers and sisters for their firm and unflinching support for the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people
In the end, I would also like congratulate Ms. Nesibe Yavaş, a Turkish student, who won second prize yesterday in the International Declamation Contest organized by Pakistan’s Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan to sensitize the world community on the ongoing human rights violations in the IIOJK. I would also like to appreciate the two young international students from Pakistan Embassy International Study Group, who have been selected for their video recital of their letter to the world. It gives me immense pleasure to see the youth contributing in this manner.
We express complete solidarity with the people of IIOJK and assure our Kashmiri brothers and sisters that the Government and people of Pakistan remain shoulder-to-shoulder with them. Pakistan will not relent in its support until the Kashmiris realize their legitimate right to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
We have faith, that one day Kashmiri people will realize their aspirations. Inshallah.

Turkish support for the oppressed Kashmiris reiterated at Black Day event in Ankara
ANKARA, 27 October 2020: Turkey’s unflinching support for Jammu & Kashmir dispute was once again reiterated at an event organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara today. Chairman of Turkey-Pakistan Friendship Group in Turkish Parliament Mr. Ali Şahin was chief guest.
Messages of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out by Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Arshad Jan Pathan. Pakistani leadership reiterated political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir until the resolution of the dispute according to the aspirations of the Kashmiris.
Parliamentarian Mr. Ali Şahin, in his keynote speech said Kashmir has become an open air prison with one Indian soldier for 9 Kashmiris and thousands of Kashmiris killed. He said the heaven on earth Kashmir has been turned into a hell and this is a point to ponder for the global community. Ali Şahin urged the Western world to break its silence and speak up for the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir (IIOJK).
“As President Erdogan in his speech at Pakistan Parliament in February said, the people of Pakistan and Kashmir supported us in Çanakkale battle, it is our turn to support the people of Pakistan and Kashmir,” said Ali Şahin. He underlined that as a Turkish nation, we will continue to stand side by side with the oppressed Kashmiris. He emphasized that Turkish support would continue until the Kashmir dispute is resolved peacefully under the United Nations Security Council Resolutions and as per wishes of the Kashmiri people.

The Medipol University of Istanbul separately organized a zoom conference “Understanding Kashmir’s Black Day” Between Past and Present”.
