Expomed Eurasia 2018 İstanbul fuarına geniş ölçekli Pakistan katılımı

ISTANBUL, 3 Nisan 2018: Çok sayıda Pakistan şirketi 22-25 Mart 2018 tarihlerinde düzenlenen 25. Expomed Eurasia fuarına katılım gösterdi.

Expomed Eurasia Avrasya ve Türkiye'nin sağlık bakımı sektörlerinde endüstri için düzenlenen önde gelen bir toplantı platformudur.  Pakistan'dan önde gelen on bir şirket Pakistan Ticareti Geliştirme Yetkili Makamı (TDAP) aracılığıyla Pakistan'ın İstanbul Başkonsolosluğunun işbirliğiyle platforma katıldı.  Tümü Sialkot'tan gelen katılımcı şirketlere M/s. IAA Cerrahi, Friends Surgico, Surgimax Saving, Repro Diyagnostik Görüntüleme, Expert Cushy Surgical Co., A.L.M. Surgicare, My Manufacturing, Sinnetech Medikal, Doctor & Doctors International ve Million Surgical (Pvt) Ltd. dahildi.

Pakistan Ticareti Geliştirme Yetkili Makamı (TDAP) ve İstanbul'daki Pakistan Başkonsolosluğu fuar sırasında Pakistanlı şirketlere yardımcı oldu ve özellikle tıbbi ve cerrahi araçlar alanında Medikal sektör alanında var olan olağanüstü potansiyel hakkında Türk işadamlarını bilgilendirdi.  Katılımcı şirketler 90 ülkeden 6,104 uluslararası ziyaretçiyi de içeren 35.000'den fazla sektör profesyonelini kendisine çeken fuar sırasında ürünlerini tanıtma fırsatını buldu.  

Large-scale Pakistani participation in Expomed Eurasia 2018 Istanbul

ISTANBUL, 3 April 2018: A large number of Pakistani companies participated in the 25 Expomed Eurasia held from 22-25 March 2018 in Istanbul.

Expomed Eurosia is prominent meeting platform for industry in the healthcare sectors of Eurasia and Turkey. Eleven leading companies from Pakistan participated through Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with Consulate General of Pakistan in Istanbul. The participating companies, all from Sialkot, included M/s. IAA Surgical, Friends Surgico, Surgimax Saving, Repro Diagnostic Imaging, Expert Cushy Surgical Co., A.L.M. Surgicare, My Manufacturing, Sinnetech Medical, Doctor & Doctors International and Million Surgical (Pvt) Ltd.


The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Consulate General of Pakistan Istanbul facilitated the Pakistani companies during the fair as well as endeavored to inform the Turkish businessmen about the tremendous potential that existed in the area of Medical Sector, particularly medical and surgical devices. The participating companies had the opportunity to discuss promoting their products during the fair, which attracted over 35,000 sector professionals including 6,104 international visitors from 90 countries.

COMMANDER TURKISH NAVAL FORCES MEETS CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF OF PAKISTAN

ISLAMABAD, 02 Apr 2018: Commander Turkish Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Adnan Ozbal visited Naval Headquarters Islamabad and called on Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi as part of a bilateral visit aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two navies.


Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the dignitary was received by Chief of the Naval Staff. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented Guard of Honour. The visiting dignitary was then introduced to Principal Staff Officers at NHQ.

Later, Vice Admiral Adnan Ozbal called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office, where discussions on professional matters of mutual interests and bilateral naval collaboration were held. Various avenues of cooperation including training, exchange of visits and conduct of bilateral naval exercises between the two Navies were also focused. Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi highlighted Pakistan’s commitment and contributions in fight against terrorism including participation of Pakistan Navy in Coalition Task Forces against piracy and maritime terrorism. Vice Admiral Adnan Ozbal highly appreciated role and contributions of Pakistan Navy in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The call was followed by a briefing on Pakistan Navy’s perspective on regional issues and PN contributions towards peace and stability in the Indian Ocean. Later, Chief of Turkish Navy also laid floral wreath at Shuhada Monument at Naval Headquarters.

Visit of Naval Headquarters was followed by an impressive Investiture Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Saddar, where Vice Admiral Adnan Ozbal was conferred with Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) by President Mr. Mamnoon Hussain; one of Pakistan’s highest military awards, in recognition of his distinguished services and significant contributions towards strengthening fraternal ties between Pakistan and Turkey in general and Navies of both the brotherly nations in particular.

Commander Turkish Naval Forces will also visit Pakistan Navy Field Commands at Lahore & Karachi. The Admiral’s visit is taking place concurrent with the port visit of TCG GELIBOLU, Turkish Navy Frigate and 1st PN-TN Bilateral Naval Exercise in North Arabian Sea from 7-9 Apr 2018.

The visit of Commander Turkish Naval Forces is expected to further strengthen the bilateral collaboration between the two Navies.

President of Pakistan confers Nishan-e-Imtiaz (military) upon Commander of Turkish Naval Forces

President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) upon Vice Admiral Adnan OZBAL, Commander of Turkish Naval Forces at a ceremony in Islamabad on 2 April 2018. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that it is difficult to express the depth of the relations between Pakistan and Turkey in words. He underlined that Pakistan respects the role of Turkey in resolving the challenges faced by Muslim Ummah. The President stated that Pakistan and Turkey will continue to support each other at the international forums. He underscored that there is a strong cooperation between the democratic institutions of the both countries. He emphasized that Turkey is playing remarkable role in resolving the issues of the Muslim World. The President said that Pak-Turkish defense relations will further develop in the future. He stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has played a commendable role for the resolution of Afghanistan issue. He added that we are proud of the friendship with Turkish Government, people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He also praised the hospitality of Turkey towards the refugees. He stressed that unity among the Muslim Ummah is need of the hour in order to deal with the current problems. Earlier, an investiture ceremony was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad to confer NI(M) upon the Turkish Naval Chief. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Turkish AmbassadorIhsan Mustafa Yurdakul and senior officials were also present in the ceremony. On the occasion, Commander of Turkish Naval Forces Vice Admiral Adnan OZBAL thanked the President and said that he will continue to play his role in promoting Pak-Turkish defence ties. 

BM ile alakalı meseleler üzerine Pakistan-Türkiye İkili İstişarelerinin 3. Oturumu Ankara’da düzenlendi

ANKARA, 29 Mart 2018: BM ile alakalı meseleler üzerine Pakistan-Türkiye İkili İstişarelerinin 3. Oturumu 28 Mart 2018’de Ankara’da düzenlendi.

Pakistan heyetine Özel Sekreter (UN&EC/SCO) Sayın Tasnim Aslam liderlik ederken, Türk tarafına Siyasi İşler Müsteşar Yardımcısı Büyükelçi Kaan Esener liderlik ediyordu. Pakistan’ın Türkiye Büyükelçisi Sayın Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi de görüşmelere katıldı.

İki taraf geniş bir ölçekteki meseleler üzerinde görüşlerini paylaştılar, buna diğerlerinin yanı sıra BM Güvenlik Konseyi reform prosesi ve BM sisteminin reformu, insan hakları, insani meseleler ve mülteci meseleleri, anti-terörizm, İslamofobi ve dini ayrımcılıkla mücadele, uluslararası organize suçlarla alakalı meseleler, göç ile alakalı meseleler, ECOSOC, Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri (SDG’ler) ve bölgesel ve uluslararası barış ve güvenlikle alakalı meseleler dahildir.

Her iki taraf çok yönlü forumlarda Pakistan ve Türkiye arasında hali hazırda varolan yakın işbirliğinden dolayı ve bölgesel ve uluslararası öneme sahip olan meseleler üzerindeki görüş birliğinden dolayı tamamen memnun olduklarını ifade ettiler.  Taraflar aynı zamanda iki ülkenin Dışişleri Bakanlıkları arasındaki ikili istişarelerin kapsamını yeni alanlarda geliştirmek üzerinde anlaştı.

Ziyaretleri sırasında Özel Sekreter (UN&EC/SCO) Sayın Tasnim Aslam ayrıca Türk Dışişleri Bakanlığı Müsteşarı Büyükelçi Ümit Yalçın’ı da ziyaret etti ve ikili ve bölgesel önem taşıyan meseleler üzerinde görüş alışverişinde bulundu.


Görüşmelerin bir sonraki oturumu şimdi İslamabad’da düzenlenecektir.

3rd Round of Pakistan-Turkey Bilateral Consultations on UN related matters held in Ankara

ANKARA: 28 March 2018: The 3rd Round of Pakistan-Turkey Bilateral Consultations on UN-related matters was held on 28th March 2018 in Ankara.

Pakistan’s delegation was led by Special Secretary (UN&EC/SCO), Ms. Tasnim Aslam, while the Turkish side was led by Deputy Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Ambassador Kaan Esener. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi also attended the talks.

The two sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues including inter alia UN Security Council reform process & reform of the UN system; human rights, humanitarian and refugee issues; counter-terrorism; combating Islamophobia & religious discrimination; matters related to transnational organized crime; migration related issues; ECOSOC; Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); as well as issues pertaining to regional and international peace and security.

The two sides expressed complete satisfaction at the existing close cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey at the multi-lateral forums, as well as unanimity of views on issues of regional and international importance. They also agreed to expand the scope of the bilateral consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries to new areas.

Special Secretary (UN&EC/SCO), Ms. Tasnim Aslam, also called on the Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Umit Yalcin during the visit and exchanged views on issues of bilateral and regional importance.


The next round of talks will now be held in Islamabad.

Yüksek katılımlı "Pakistan Günü" resepsiyonu Ankara'da düzenlendi, Kayda değer Türk akademisyeni Prof. Dr. Oya'ya Pakistan nişanı verildi

ANKARA: 24 Mart 2018: Çok sayıda saygıdeğer misafir Ankara'da 23 Mart'ta Milli Gün kutlamalarının bir parçası olarak düzenlenen ve  Pakistan'ın Türkiye Büyükelçisi Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi'nin ev sahipliği yaptığı resepsiyona katıldı.  Kıdemli Türk sivil ve askeri liderler, önde gelen işadamları, medya temsilcileri, Pakistan topluluğu ve Türkiye'de bulunan diplomatlar "Pakistan Günü" resepsiyonuna katıldı.  

Onur konukları arasında Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Başbakan Yardımcısı Dr. Recep Akdağ, Türk Genelkurmay Başkanı Orgeneral Hulusi Akar, Milli Savunma Bakanı Sayın Nurettin Canikli, Türk Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanı Orgeneral Yaşar Güler, Türk Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanı Orgeneral Hasan Küçükakyüz, Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanı Koramiral Adnan Özbal, Türk Genelkurmay Başkanı Yardımcısı Orgeneral Ümit Dündar, Saadet Partisi Başkanı Sayın Temel Karamollaoğlu ve Büyük Birlik Partisi Başkanı Sayın Mustafa Destici vardı.

Büyükelçi Syrus Qazi hoşgeldiniz konuşmasında Pakistan-Türkiye kardeşliğinin devletler arası ilişkilerde benzersiz olduğunu söyledi.  Kendisi bu ilişkiyi zamanın ve coğrafyanın sınırlarını aşan kalpten kalbe bir ilişki olarak nitelendirdi.  Büyükelçi Türk Hükümetine Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerinin T-129 ATAK helikopterlerinin İslamabad'daki Pakistan Günü geçit törenine katılımı için ve İstanbul Boğazı üzerindeki köprülerin 23 Mart'ta Pakistan'ın renkleriyle ışıklandırılması için teşekkür etti. 

Milli Savunma Bakanı Sayın Nurettin Canikli Pakistan ve Türkiye'nin gerçek eski dostlar olduğunu söyledi ve Türk halkının Pakistan'ın en zor günlerinde bile kendilerinin tarafında olacağına inandığını vurguladı. Kendisi Pakistan halkı ve Hükümeti tarafından 15 Temmuz 2016 başarısız darbe girişiminden sonra uzatılan destek eli için minnettarlığını ifade etti.  Bakan iki ülkenin de kendi coğrafyalarında benzer zorluklarla karşılaştığını vurguladı ve iki kardeş ülke arasında daha yakın bir savunma işbirliği olması gerektiğini belirtti. 


Pakistan Cumhurbaşkanı adına, Büyükelçi Syrus Qazi önde gelen bir Türk akademisyeni ve eski bir parlamenter olan Prof. Dr. Oya Akgönenç'e Pakistan-Türkiye ilişkilerini daha da geliştirmek için verdiği hizmetlerden ötürü Pakistan'ın prestijli “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” nişanını verdi.

“Cinnah Genç Yazarlar Ödülleri Yarışması 2016-2017” başlıklı bir kitap da bu olay üzerine çıkarıldı.  Bu kitap Türkiye'nin 81 ilinden gelen lise öğrencilerinin 2016 ve 2017 yılında düzenlenmiş olan bir makale yarışması sırasında Pakistan-Türkiye ilişkileri üzerine yazdığı makalelerin bir derlemesidir.  

Misafirler Pencap, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Belucistan, Gilgit-Baltistan ve Azad Keşmir'den gelen çeşitli mutfakları temsil eden özel olarak hazırlanmış yemek stantlarındaki Pakistan mutfağı çeşitlerinin keyfini çıkardı.

Highly attended “Pakistan Day” reception held in Ankara, Noted Turkish academician Prof. Dr. Oya conferred Pakistan’s civil award

ANKARA: 24 March 2018: A large number of distinguished guests participated in the reception hosted by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi in Ankara on 23rd March as part of the National Day celebrations. Senior Turkish civil and military leadership, leading businessmen, media representatives, Pakistani community, and diplomats based in Turkey attended “Pakistan Day” reception.

Guests of honour included Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Dr. Recep Akdağ, Chief of Turkish General Staff General Hulusi Akar, Minister for National Defence Mr. Nurettin Canikli, Commander of Turkish Land Forces General Yaşar Güler, Commander of Turkish Air Force General Hasan Küçükakyüz, Commander of Turkish Naval Forces Vice Admiral Adnan Özbal, Deputy Chief of Turkish General Staff General Umit Dundar, Chairman of Saadat Party Mr. Temel Karamollaoğlu, and Chairman of Grand Union Party Mr. Mustafa Destici.


Ambassador Syrus Qazi, in his welcome address said Pakistan-Turkey brotherhood is without parallel in inter-state relations. He termed it a heart-to-heart relationship that transcends boundaries of time and geography. The Ambassador thanked the Turkish Government for the participation of Turkish Armed Forces’ T-129 ATAK helicopters in Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad and for lighting the Bridges over Bosphorus in Pakistan’s colours on 23 March.

Minister for National Defence Mr. Nurettin Canikli referred to Pakistan and Turkey as true old friends and emphasized that the Turkish people believe that Pakistan will be on their side even in the most difficult days. He appreciated the support extended by the people and Government of Pakistan after the failed coup attempt of 15 July 2016. The Minister pointed out that the two countries are facing similar challenges in their own geography and stressed on closer defence collaboration between the two brotherly countries.


On behalf of the President of Pakistan, Ambassador Syrus Qazi conferred Pakistan’s prestigious civil award “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” upon Prof. Dr. Oya Akgönenç, a noted Turkish academician and former parliamentarian, in recognition of her services for further promoting Pakistan-Turkey relations.

A book titled “Jinnah Young Writers Awards Competition 2016-2017” was also launched on the occasion. It is a compilation of essays written by High School Students of 81 provinces of Turkey on Pakistan-Turkey relations during an essay competition organized in 2016 and 2017.

Guests enjoyed variety of Pakistani cuisine in the specially prepared food stalls representing diverse cuisine from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
