Pakistan-Turkey relations growing in all fields - Envoy

ANKARA, 5 December 2017: Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi while giving a briefing to the participants of the 107^th National Management Course of the National School of Public Policy on the status of multi-faceted Turkey-Pakistan bilateral relations said that the brotherly ties are flourishing in diverse fields.

Ambassador Syrus Qazi apprised the delegation of the deep historical and cultural roots of Pakistan-Turkey relations and their steady growth in all domains, including political, economic, investment, defence, cultural and educational fields. “Owing to the commitment of political leadership and keen interest of the private sector, Pakistan-Turkey relations are witnessing growth and footprints of Turkish investment in Pakistan are growing,” said the Envoy. He emphasized that efforts were underway to transform the excellent brotherly ties into a strong partnership, with a major focus on enhanced trade and economic relationship. The Ambassador added that Pakistan could learn from the Turkish experience in the public welfare projects that the Turkish government has implemented in the last fifteen years.

As part of their study tour, the Pakistani delegation will visit various departments and institutions and shall evaluate the local government, SME sector, agriculture, health, disaster management and development administration of Turkey. The delegation is on a study tour of Turkey from 4 -8 December 2017 and comprises senior officers from both the federal and provincial governments as well as autonomous institutions who are expected to assume leadership role in government departments.

Önde Gelen Pakistanlı şirketler İstanbul'daki 5. OIC Helal Fuarına / Dünya Helal Ürünler Zirvesi'ne katılıyor

 ISTANBUL, 4 Aralık 2017: 5. OIC Helal Ürünler Fuarı 23 ile 25 Kasım 2017 tarihlerinde İstanbul'da Dünya Helal Ürünler Konferansı ile beraber düzenlendi.  Bu olay OIC'nin  Ekonomik ve Ticari İşbirliği için Daimi Komisyonu'nun (COMCEC) 32. Bakanlar Oturumunca adapte edilmiş olan kararın uygulanması için düzenlendi. 

Fuara Cornish Food Industries, Geofman Pharmaceuticals, Salva Foods ve Shangrila Private Limited dahil önde gelen Pakistan şirketleri katıldı.  Pakistan Ticareti Geliştirme Yetkili Makamı (TDAP) ve İstanbul'daki Pakistan Başkonsolosluğu fuar sırasına Pakistanlı şirketlere yardım ettiler ve Türk işadamlarını Pakistan'da Helal Gıda alanında var olan olağanüstü potansiyel hakkında bilgilendirdiler.  Fuara katılan Pakistan şirketleri kurumlararası (B2B) toplantılar düzenledi ve ürünleri için Türkiye'den siparişler aldı ve bunun da ötesinde Pakistan'ın bölgesel ve küresel ticaretteki payını arttırmaya yardımcı oldular.

Türk iş çevreleri topluluğu ve Helal Gıda işindeki başlıca küresel oyuncular Fuara ve Zirveye katıldı. 

Bu meyanda, ayrı bir olayda, Pakistan'ın İstanbul Başkonsolosu Dr. Yousaf Junaid 7. Küresel İslami Mikrofinans Forumu'nda onur konuğu ve açılış konuşmacısıydı.  Geniş kapsamlı konuşmasında, Dr. Junaid İslami Mikrofinans Sisteminin önemini vurguladı ve Müslüman Ümmetinin sosyoekonomik koşullarını iyileştirmek için İslami Mikrofinans Sisteminin geliştirilmesi gerektiğinden bahsetti.

Leading Pakistani companies participates in the 5th OIC Halal Expo / World Halal Summit, Istanbul

ISTANBUL, 4 December 2017: The 5th OIC Halal Exhibition was held from 23rd to 25th November 2017 at Istanbul along with the World Halal Conference. The event was held in pursuance of the resolution adopted by the 32nd Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the OIC (COMCEC).

Leading Pakistani companies including Cornish Food Industries, Geofman Pharmaceuticals, Salva Foods, and Shangrila Private Limited attended the Expo. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Consulate General of Pakistan Istanbul facilitated the Pakistani companies during the fair and informed the Turkish businessmen about the tremendous potential that exists in the area of Halal Food in Pakistan. The participating Pakistani companies held Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings and obtained orders for their products from Turkey and beyond which will help enhance Pakistan’s share in the regional and global trade.

Turkish business community as well as major global players in the business of Halal food attended the Expo and Summit.

Meanwhile, in a separate event, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Consul General of Pakistan in Istanbul, was the guest of honour and keynote speaker during 7th Global Islamic Microfinance Forum. In his wide-ranging speech, Dr. Junaid highlighted the importance of Islamic Microfinance System and stressed upon development of Islamic Microfinance System for the improvement of the socio-economic condition of the Muslim Ummah.

Pakistan-Türkiye savunma işbirliği daha da geliştirilecek

ANKARA, 24 Kasım 2017: Pakistan Savunma Üretimi Bakanı Rana Tanveer Hussain bugün Ankara’da Türkiye Milli Savunma Bakanı Sayın Nurettin Canikli ile bir toplantı düzenledi.

İki Bakan ikili işbirliği üzerinde kapsamlı bir gözden geçirmede bulundu, özellikle iki ülke arasında süregiden savunma sanayi projeleri hakkında.  Pakistan ve Türkiye arasındaki verimli ilişkiden duyduğu memnuniyeti ifade eden iki bakan savunma sanayi işbirliğini daha da derinleştirmek ve genişletmek için söz verdiler.  Kendileri ikili işbirliğinin artan düzeyinin her iki tarafın liderlerinin vizyonlarıyla uyumlu olduğunu belirtti.  Her iki taraf, savunma işbirliğindeki tam potansiyeli gerçekleştirmek ve yeni projeler belirlemek gibi bir görüşle karşılıklı temasları ve ziyaretleri daha da arttırmak üzerinde anlaştı.

Bakan Rana Tanveer iki kardeş ülkenin savunma endüstrilerinin belirgin derecede kapasiteleri ve yetenekleri olduğunu ve daha yakın karşılıklı işbirliğinin bunlara tam potansiyellerini fark etmeleri için yardımcı olacağını belirtti.  Kendisi her iki ülkenin daha fazla birleşik ortaklık ve ortak üretim fırsatlarını araştırmasını ümit etti. 

Türk Milli Savunma Bakanı Sayın Nurettin Canikli Pakistan ve Türkiye arasındaki kardeşlik ilişkilerinin tarihte derin kökleri olduğunu söyledi.  Kendisi bu kardeşliğin tüm ilişki düzeylerinde yansıtıldığını belirtti.  Kendisi güncel zorlukları karşılamak amacıyla kritik teknolojiler geliştirmek için olan işbirliği ihtiyacına vurguda bulundu. 

Pakistan’ın Türkiye Büyükelçisi Sayın Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi ve Karaçi Tersaneleri ve Mühendislik işleri İdari Müdürü Tuğamiral Syed Hasan Nasir Shah da toplantıya katıldılar.  Türk tarafından da Türk savunma endüstrilerinin kıdemli yetkilileri toplantıya katıldı. 

Pakistan-Turkey defence collaboration to be further enhanced

ANKARA, 24 November 2017:  The Defence Production Minister of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain held a meeting with the Minister for National Defence of Turkey Mr. Nurettin Canikli in Ankara today.

The two Ministers had a comprehensive review of bilateral cooperation, particularly the ongoing defence industry projects between the two countries. Expressing satisfaction at the flourishing relationship between Pakistan and Turkey, the two Ministers vowed to further deepen and broaden defence industry cooperation. They noted that the growing level of bilateral cooperation was consistent with the vision of the leaders on both sides. Both sides agreed to further increase mutual contact and exchange of visits with a view to realizing the full potential in defence collaboration and identifying new projects.

Minister Rana Tanveer noted that the defence industries of the two brotherly countries had significant capacities and capabilities and closer mutual collaboration would help them realize the full potential. He hoped that both countries would explore further possibilities of joint ventures and co-production.

Turkish Defence Minister Mr. Nurettin Canikli said that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey are deeply rooted in history. He said this brotherhood is reflected in all level of relationships. He stressed on the need of collaboration for developing critical technologies to meet contemporary challenges.

Ambassador of Pakistan in Turkey Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and Managing Director Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Rear Admiral Syed Hasan Nasir Shah also attended the meeting. Senior officials of the Turkish defence industries attended from the Turkish side.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the National Defence Ministry, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Turkish Armed Forces presented guard of honour to the visiting Pakistani Minister.
